Process:

Created across twelve intimate 15 × 15 cm canvases, the work unfolds through layers of paint, texture, mosaic, fabric and memory. Each small surface becomes a space where fragments of an everyday life can be held, transformed and reimagined. Materials are chosen not only for their visual qualities, but for the traces and histories they carry. The process is deliberately tactile and fragmented, allowing each canvas to feel like a discovered piece of a larger whole.

The Inspiration

The inspiration comes from the quiet poetry of ordinary things: a beloved dog, the familiar pathway walked to work each day, a tree of life, a symbol of peace, and bubbles suspended for only a fleeting moment. Fabrics once belonging to someone carry the warmth of another time, while a number plate transformed through mosaic turns the everyday into something precious. Together, these fragments speak of love, belonging, memory, fragility and the beauty hidden within the familiar.

The Story

This collection is a story told in fragments - twelve small windows into a life shaped by people, places, memories and moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. A dog, a daily journey, inherited fabrics, the tree of life, peace and fragile bubbles become symbols of connection, remembrance and the passing of time. Each canvas holds a moment of its own, yet together they form a deeply personal landscape of memory.
